You have an idea that has been rolling around in your head for years, or you’ve completed your masterpiece and now have no idea what to do with it.

Before you submit your work to Arbor House Publishing for review, take the time to read through this page to ensure that you have everything in order. If you have questions regarding the process or about your work in particular, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We believe that everyone has a story in them. It is just a matter of finding that story and committing it to words. And we are here to help you with that process. While you may not have a completed work in front of you, we do ask that you have at least a proposal prepared that our staff can review. The question now becomes: what goes into a book proposal? If you need assistance with this process, please email us and we will send you an outline of the information that we feel is important to know in order to get a feel for your book.

For those have a completed manuscript in hand, we don’t expect you to send us the entire file all at once. Send us a chapter that best exemplifies the entirety of the work, as well as an introduction to explain what exactly we are reading. Also include an outline for the rest of the manuscript.

Are you not from the Pennsylvania area? That’s no problem. We are happy to work with writers from all over the United States. We can conduct a large part of our interactions through both email and over the phone, even if we do prefer being able to sit down face to face. We are still just a phone call or an email away whenever you have a question or need assistance.
